Trying to get less Lag

Hey guys I know a little about DSL Modems, just enough to get myself in trouble.

I am trying to get a better connection to DDO. I am doing a tracert to see if I am having problem anywhere. I always get a time out at the same place. Here is the Tracert:

Any Suggestions on how to fix that?

Some Background you need to know.

I am in Germany and I do not know German. The Router OS is in German, though i can figure most of it out. Calling the ISP may be difficult since they have very few that speak English.

Do you have a router hooked up? You will not get any returns from the gateway, so usually on cable and DSL modems you will see the first or second series *. This looks like a good tracert with a router hooked up.
