Wierd things on the A.H.

Well, this happened to me last night and it is a 1st, has this happened to you?

I bidded 25k plat on a +3 Frost Khopesh of Pure Good, it was close to the end of the auction (only 2 hours left) and it was getting late, so I went to bed.

Woke up, logged on to see if I won the bid (I figured I wouldn't considering the item), and you know what I found in the mail?

Nothing!!!!!!!!!:eek: No return of coin or the item! Zip! Zippola! There was no item to bid on, nothing. In my paranoia I logged onto every toon and found that there was no mistake, just me, out the plat! Has this happened to you? And whats worse.. I have no proof, because I never pic'd it or anything.

Not much I can do... just wierd:(

Nope, but I know someone who got outbid and their mailbox was full so they lost a lot of money. Closest thing I know of.

Maybe the bid didn't go through. I've had times when trying to bid on an item where it will tell me I've not bid high enough (both as a first bid and subsequent bids).

I have felt like that has happened in the past, but I was not really sure. If that makes any sense. I was sure I had bid on something, and then later, my plat seems lower, but I have no bid, no Item, and no mail. I am still not willing to say I did in fact bid, but always wondered.

i bid on 2 +1 frostburst scimitars 2 nights ago...3k plat for each...2 hours left...outbid on 1 money returned...they other........nothing no win no return...same as you.....item for a new toon...who cares...but glad it wasnt a big bid

Yes, just a few days ago. I bid on a bow, not remembering what it was exactly. 150Kgp or so. Was the high bidder for 24+ hours. Then... nothing. No outbid refund. No Bow.

Was going to report it, but forgot untill I read this.

I think it has only been the one time. And that was after the merge of Aundair, not sure if it's related or not.
