Will cc ever draw aggro?

If you have your wiz doing nothing but making people dance and be paralyzed, if they survive to come out of the spelll are they most likely to attack you or the toon that dealt the most damage to them while they were immoble?

if nothing else has drawn aggro, then yes...and no. I've found some spells do and some dont. Hypnotize doesnt seem to draw any aggro at all if they make their save, whereas web does, even if they save and are never held in the web to begin with.

Generally speaking, spells from the enchantment school dont draw aggro.

Im about 90% sure that dancing ball will draw agro...

from my experience (granted only a 5 wiz)

you will draw agro from any cc spell that stays in place.. like web or solid fog.. but a single burst cc spell that does no damage you shouldnt get agro unless they see you..

Not gonna flat out say all CC spells I have cast have given me aggro but when a mob is under the effect and is released from it...if they have not been damaged they come after me. Will keep an eye out for spells that dont work this way.
