This Idea Come from 'Lejes' of Kyber
Warforged Wizard

Con 18 +1 Tome +6 Item +1 Enhancment = 26
Int 18 +3 Enhancment +6 Item +3 Level Raise +2 Tome = 32
Wis 7 +1 Tome = 8
Cha 6
1st Mithril Body
1st Extend Spell
3rd Mental Toughness
5th Empower Spell
6th Imp Mental Toughness
9th Spell Pen
10th Heighten Spell
12th Greater Spell Pen
15th Spell Focus
15th Maximize Spell
18th Greater Spell Focus
20th Quicken Spell?
HP Break Down 14th Level
56 Class +20 Heroic +10 Favor +30 Greater False Life +112 Con
228 HP
AC Break Down 14th Level
10 Base +2 Chaos Guard +5 Protection +3 Barkskin +10 Armor +5 Dex +6 Shield +1 Haste +3 Chattering Ring
45 Ac +1 if you get a Twlight Mith Heavy Shield +2 if you get a Real Barks
So you now have a decent Ac so not everything hits you auto 42 is easy to get to and requres no raid loot your hp is a large 228 I know a lot of people who dont even have that as a tank/hybrd.
Best of all you can Heal yourself yes Heal yourself 1 Reconstruct Spell is more then enough to heal yourself also you have a 25 concentration without an item you might cast spells when geting hit.
You Could also drop a Feat maybe Improved Mental Toughness or Greater Spell Pen or Greater Spell Focus and take Combat Expertise this will let you drop a firewall click it and go into block mode for 7 more ac for a total posible or 52 and 55 if you get a real barkskin and find yourself a beter shield add 4 if a paladin is near for 59 ac standing in your own firewall leting mobs burn.

Lejes actually dropped MT and IMT for SF and GSF:necro. 1200sp is plenty if you stick to fingers and firewalls (I rarely run out before I come across a shrine).
AC is only half the reason it's so tough to kill. 50ac + displacement + >200hp = good times. With reconstructs doing >200, you basically have unlimitted LOH's. (could scroll it, but what other level 6 spells are there worth taking?). Also with a mod fort item, you're at 100% fort (and there's no shortage of mod fort items/docents)
There are only three downsides to playing this build (one of which is being fixed in mod5)
1) The game becomes 'easy mode'. Even big skeletons with lamp posts on elite are no match for a maximized-empowered-extended firewall while you block and reconstruct yourself.
2) People 'encourage' you to play your wizard when you'd rather roll with a gimped toon for a change of pace.
3) Your end rewards are gonna suck until mod5.

Oh comon we let you play other toons but really you just play so well as a wizard :)
yes I know you droped the Mental Toughness feats but not everyone plays a wizard as well as you and know how to get all the millage you do out of your mana.
and there will be 3 clones soon enough so you will have to play it even less :)

So you just take the 15% arcane penalty for Mithral Body? Or is there an enhancement later that gets rid of it?

there is an enhancment that gets rid of it and there are also arcane docents for 5-15% redux on spell fail

I made a WF wizard almost exactly like this, except I took 1 level of fighter in there, and put str up to 14, it would be a lot easier if I had some 32 point builds lol. I like him so far, but I can't wait to get rid of the ASF lol.

I made a WF wizard almost exactly like this, except I took 1 level of fighter in there, and put str up to 14, it would be a lot easier if I had some 32 point builds lol. I like him so far, but I can't wait to get rid of the ASF lol.The enhancement is 5/10/15%, but I've only ever seen 5 and 10% docents (Lesser and Arcane Sigil). I have not yet seen Greater Arcane Sigil docents. But, that is not to say that they are not coming, eventually. 15% enhancement + 15% Greater Arcane Sigil = 5% ASF on an Adamantine WF (before other -%ASF items). :)
P.S. I don't know if it's a bug or not. But, Arcane Sigil Docents are coded like other -%ASF magic items and remove ASF from body plating AND shield.

SHHHHH!!! If it is that way, don't let them know ;)
And I do believe that it only goes up to 10% (atm) on the arcane sigil docents. But the enh. goes up to 15%.

actually, there's a more effective mannor that is possible right now:
35% adamantine plating
-15% insribed armor
-10% arcain sigil
-10% 7 fingured glove (titan reward)
-----------------------------------
0% arcain failure

Yep..
End of the day, I guess hp is king, so 14 more hp in an end game environment would be a good thing. Mobs on elite will hit 50ac 90% of the time these days anyhow.
I still find 200hp to be the magic number though - anything more is just gravy.

sweet, my wizard has exactly 200, unless he uses the rage spell, then it's 214
