That's right folks! Another event from that crazy gal Saranae!

As of yet, the time and date is unannounced as I have to clear it with the volunteers that will be helping me with it but here is the event!

DDO Amazing Race!

THE RULES:
Teams of 2 will be formed and each team given an initial clue to a location. The teams will then rush to the location, and complete a puzzle (think word games) at the location and tell the attendent the answer. Once the correct answer is given, the team will be given another clue and must race on to the next location (once they figure out where it is).

The first team to reach the final destination (touching all waypoints) wins a fabulous prize!

How big are the teams able to be?

Post Script: misread that..you're saying folks will race in pairs basically?

Hey hon! Great idea - should be fun..

We did something like this with the last scavenger hunt - if I can make one recommendation - implement a rule where teleport/greater teleport is not allowed. We learned the hard way and the team of casters blew the rest of the teams away.

We did something like this with the last scavenger hunt - if I can make one recommendation - implement a rule where teleport/greater teleport is not allowed. We learned the hard way and the team of casters blew the rest of the teams away.

Yep, teleport drastically reduces the size of the DDO world. It's kinda why the race / checkpoints in the Olympics were specifically in locations that you couldn't just teleport directly to

I plan to allow teleport and greater teleport. But the team must arrive together (the pair) and I wouldn't expect the places to be anywhere that teleport would greatly benefit the parties.

I'm still working out the riddles and the locations, I'll post the day of the event as soon as I have one nailed down!
