Reaver Solo- Elite, it was the wizard again.

Woot, mission finally accomplished. I thought with my last posting that was the highest point for me and DDO, but alass, its been topped.

Now I know I'm not the first ever to do this (though, after have finally completing it, I understand what other have gone through to complete this raid on elite). However I take great pide in this accomplishment and felt it was worthy enough to share. While some may say that 'many' have solo the reaver, but based on my findings this is untrue. I would say under 20 and 20 being a very generous number, but by my count only about 12-15 or so that I've been able to find so I still feel that worthy of being mentioned.

Again, huge thanks for to the Diggers Union.

Not that I have much use for them (not proficient with the morningstar, and already have a napkin), but at least they weren't 2 shields like my normal run :)

Thanks for looking, and as for you Argonauts I look foreward to seein you guys in a couple weeks. Will be heading out on vacation the day before the servers merge so hopefully everything will go smoothly.

Once again to recap... congratz for completing the raid by utilizing a graphical bug that was not intended to be used in the way that it is being used... aka exploiting.

that being said... not that impressive to beat raid by exploiting a bug.

Well, jeez. Sorry. I apologize, but I'm afraid you assume to much. Even with the exploit this is no easy task. His disentigrate do about 180-220 damage (which creates a lot of problems for me only having 202 hp, at least for me anyway), crits for 175-250. Air Elemental spam call lightning at your constantly regardless of where you are (except for the upper corners of the spiked hallways).

The reaver hismelf isn't the hardest thing to tank with a decent ac and displacement, though plenty of running around him is invovled. A lot of luck goes into this sort of thing, but exploit (if it really is so, I'm no expert on that sort of thing and have no real inclination to discuss it) or no exploit this is not an easy thing to accomplish and anyone who says otherwise I believe to unknowledgeable of what exactly happens when attempting to solo the raid, even on elite.

Don't need to hide in the corner to solo the raid. The reaver can be debuffed and dancing balls are a beautiful thing. OP Gratz. Even with the corner it's still not easy. Lots of things can go wrong and it uses alot of resources.

Thanks Vin. Heh, not to mention those darn Earth Elementals. They have redicilious saves.

Though, really I'm done soloing raids as I much rather run with my guildmates. My dream was to complete a raid solo, and that has been realized. Not easy, and I'll admit took me serveral attempts before I got one to stick.

I wish the best of luck to anyone else choosing to follow a smiliar path as your headed for a bumpy road.

grats. I personally know 3 people have soloed it in our server, so there are many people have done it in all the servers.

Personally, I think soloing DQ as a wiz/sorc is more challenging than SR.

I would disagree I think the DQ would be very easy to solo... I'd do it If I had disintergrate...

Then again I have never tried so I may very well be wrong and some things dont work as I see them in a 2-man

It's definitely not easy Connor, but it can be done at quite an expense :)

It definitely does not work the same as a 2 man.
