The moment I found out about it I knew I'd have to get it. I actually bought a PSP about one week before finding out about that game. Will it interfere with my DDO playing? Dunno. Not very likely, and if it does, not by much.

But the release date is set now: July 31st (this upcoming Tuesday)

The game was pushed back for the 4,156th time, to Aug. 14th. Looks like it might be fun, but I doubt it will replace DDO anytime soon.

The DnDT website and other sites like Gamespot all have it coming out the 14th.

Finally I hope it is true to PnP rules as well. Then they need to turn it into an MO and I would finally would be happy; I would even leave DDO for it. But until then DDO is the only DnD/MMO in existence and so here I remain. This game hardly spells DOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!1!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!one!on e1!!!! for DDO though, but lets not tell the Devs that, maybe they will work harder :D

I have pre-ordered this game for my PSP, but from what I can tell it cannot hold a candle to DDO.

- Turn-based combat
- No multiclassing
- Limited multi-player capabilities
- No persistent online world

I travel a lot for business, and I use the PSP at the airport and on the plane (gotta love the 5+ hour battery life!), but I also bring my laptop with DDO installed for my REAL fix! I will not stay at a hotel that does not offer high speed Internet access.
