This isn't really a question and it is for Newbs. For the love of God stop with the blind invites. I normally would be more than happy to help, just send a tell first about the quest you wish me to help with. I know this is an old subject but after the 100th blind invite this past few days I needed to mention it. Send a tell first!!! Thank you.

Worse than that: blind guild invites. Why would someone join a guild they dont even know the name of - just some random invite from a person you dont know?

I agree it can be bothersome, and they always come when I'm on just to cash in Items or check the Auction House...Blind invites is the DDO version of telemarketers...lol. "LFG" is the way to go.

This is the course of events that happened over the weekend.
Random_person invites you to their group.
I decline
Same Random_person invites you to their group.
I decline
Again, this moron of a Random_person invites you to their group.
You accept
"Hey, I said no. Quit inviting me."
You leave the group
King of the Morons, Random_person invites you to their group.
Eventually he got the point, or his 2 second attention span kicked in, and he lost interest.
What is even funnier, when I put myself LFG, I ALWAYS put into the text "Send tell 1st, or I will decline"
I had someone send me a tell. I declined him. He sends it again. I decline, yet again. Finally he says a tell. "I thought you were LFG?". Of course, being irked now, I reply,"Didn't you read my message in the LFG window?". He responds,"Nope."
I reply,"Not interested, learn to read."
I log off to my baby sorcerer and nuke stuff until my friends log in.

When I'm playing a non guilded character, I make up my own guild just so people dont keep inviting me/pushing me to join their guild. Last night I actually had someone ask to join my guild, hehe. So what did I do? I invited him. Good friend from another server though. We're now going for an all wf caster guild, only letting in people we already know well.

im remmber there are some options there on configuration on the ui to stop that, and too many ppl do the invites to ppl showns on the who list, so mark yourself as annonymous (who pannel) and blind invites gonna be reduced a lot.
