A phone number? Lol. Realize that most of these companies are based out of China (lower cost, and ignore a lot of international trade laws).

Having a phone number for you to call would imply them wanting you to call them, which they dont. They want you to buy their product as quickly and efficiently as possible, and then move on. It's not a product they "manufacture" themselves (they pull it off of Turbine's servers, then sell it to you), so customer satisfaction is a moot point.

Turbine's suggestion: be diligent about reporting them as soon as you get any spam.

My suggestion: report them, but first waste as much time of theirs as you can. Do whatever you can to draw them into a long conversation. Be pushy about talking to them. Ask them about their job. Ask them how much money they make, how much time they spend collecting items and how much time selling. Try to start a friendly debate over whether what they are doing is right or wrong. Avoid open harassment, but go far enough to waste a lot of their time and cause them a bit of stress.

Dont blatantly harass them. No need to have them seek revenge and get you banned. Funny story about that. A guildie told me how he replied to a spam /tell with "and how much would I have to pay for your sister?" The guy got really mad about that. Called my guildie all kinds of nasty words. The plat seller's account eventually got banned. He made a new one, and another and another after that, each time sending angry and harassing tells to this guildmate of mine.
