So you get this magical armor and you want to start pounding on it because you don't like its look?
Um...sure...but only if there is a chance its magical ability will be ruined.

Doesn't help when you bump them.

Why is this stupid? It's a perfectly reasonable request that have been brought up 1000 times by players and completely ignored by the devs. Just because you don't care if your toon looks like it got hit by an ugly stick, it doesn't mean that other people that actually have a sense of aesthetics (*gasp*) should tolerate that as well. Face it, style and fashion sense matters. Otherwise, everyone would be wearing jeans and t-shirts to work and formal functions.

i agree with the op
we should be able to modify our armors and such.
heck if you don't like it then don't modify it. but if you don't like it, then to have an option to modify it the way you would like to see the armor would be great.
they already have the skins in game, the colors and such.
just would be nice to modify our armors.
the more customization the better.....thats for any game.
this has been brought up before and with crafting coming in the fall we might see something along the lines of it.

Reasonable enough, but he posted like 3-4 GIVE US threads in a span of 5 minutes.

It's stupid because the OP posted 3 threads on it at the same time.
Yeah, I would like to alter looks of equipment (within reason).

Ok, I understand. Sorry, didn't realize he did that. I thought you meant the idea of being able to modify your character's equipment look/style is stupid.
Yes, that would be nice.
And, having some other games as example, it would be nice if we could modify the abilities of the items too - or even create magical ones. Of course, the cost would be really expensive, would need to collect some items and could have a failure %. But it would be nice.

I'd like it, as long as you can somehow modify the look or color of a Docent as well. I can't tell you how long it took me to find the teal-colored one I have on Deriaz, that doesn't look like I'm some kind of bladed freak.
Would be nice to get a Docent, and be able to change what it looks like, if not the color. . . I'm fine with running around in Pink. :P
But yes, this would be a nice option to see, even if just for you fleshies. You all run around, and look so ugly sometimes. . .
