I'm not sure if this has ever been brought up but, what about the possiblity of henchmen being available to fill a party? It would sure save time on finding that elusive cleric.

Sure the npc may not be too good but it'd be better than nothing.

Imo henchmen are great in a turn based game but get them in real time with the complete lack of acceptable AI they become a complete liability. Do you really want a Coyle clone walking around spamming MM at the first thing he sees?

I was thinking more along the lines of hiring a cleric with infinate spell points spamming cure serious wounds.
