what sword should i use to kill......?

I saw a post once that listed all the different types of styles of weapons, i.e. cold iron, flame touched, outside bane and so forth. Can anyone tellme the link to find that again, i am getting to the point now that i want to know if a weapon will do any good depending on the mission i am going on. Thank you in advance.

Most weapons will do well, it's just that some creatures have immunities, and some are vulnerable to certain types.

IMO, Pure Good weapons are the best all-around, since most mobs are not Good. Preferably combined with an elemental effect.

My favorite weapon that I have is a +2 Flaming bastard sword of Pure Good.

Most mobs get nailed with both effects, while a few are immune to one or the other. I have not yet encountered anything immune to both (not to say there's nothing out there that is)

For the times that weapon is less than desirable, I have a +1 Frost bastard sword of Righteousness, a Muckbane, and a +1 heavy mace of True Chaos (great for all types of skellies)
