Does anyone use a maldroit weapon and if you do is it any good. I see it does a -1 to dex with each successful hit but does that really bother any of the creatures in the game. I guess it would make some easier to trip but really dont see an upside to this type of ability on a melee weapon.

I occasionally used one on a high AC enemy that does not have heavy armor (like a fire elemental, but that was back when DR did not affect stat damaging weapons).
I guess it could be useful against archers, but they tend to drop fast once you can swing at them anyway (but a maladroit returning hammer could be great).
I also tried to use it on tripped enemies so they don't get up fast, but when in a group it does not make enough difference to be useful.
Overall it's certainly not a widely used kind of weapon.
