Demon Queen solo/duo/short man

What are people's strategies for demon queen raid? Post 4.1.

How do you run it solo. Do you need bramble casters? or can you run it with something else?

Ran it the other night, couldn't do it cause the archers kept killing us. Any special strategies?

Can't answer for solo.

But for 2+

We have one person (high AC/DR self-healing (ie - pally) build is best) annoy the archers and then turtle up. Leaves everyone else free to play with the queen.

Use to solo with caster (and saw rangers as well) - with the changes to Archers and AoE - now not really sure :(

More than solo - use an aggro magnet to free up everyone else :)

I haven't solo'd it post-4.1, but I was in there the other night testing things out with a backup crew. Looks like it is still completely soloable, just a bit harder since you can't easily neuter the archers. The archer change means that it will probably be easiest once again to run big circles and hope you don't fail a wrack roll (as opposed to melee-ing her, as the archers will whack you HARD now).

Solo is much more difficult, being crippled is a major disadvantage
Duo is still doable, but you need someone with enough dex to hit the archers and get aggro off the ranger.
Trio is even easier, as the 2nd person is no long relied on for a rez.

I have a quick question. Why would anyone who is capable of soloing or duoing the Demon Queen ever post their strategy? This quest is not designed for that. It is a raid that is supposed to be difficult. (Whether or not it is is simply opinion) It just seems to me that it wouldn't be smart to post a strategy to do a Raid with so few people lest the Devs bring in the big nerf bat! lol:D

I kill her every 3 days:D I am yet to get my **** kopeshes!:(

All it takes is for you to say something to the wrong person, then everyone knows... then nerfed. If you want information concealed, answering through pm's isnt any safer than posting it.

Ditto here on Mabar..... and along with the Khopesh, I have yet to hear that the Demonic Bracers dropped for anyone. Wondering if they even exist? :(

Friend has and loves his consort bracers. They certainly do exist, but are quite rare.

The biggest problem I find is that she bugs out at the start (ports and then stays invulnerable), and then I get irritated and do something else.

Whenever I see questions about strategy, I post my methods. And, one of two things is going to happen -
1) People can learn from that and adapt them to their own strategies
2) Devs are going to decide they don't like strategies like that and put an end to it.


If people learn from it, then all is well and good.

If the devs keep nerfing every legitimate strategy there is until everyone is forced to run the one and only dev way, then the devs are going to kill off their own game.

I know how to solo the queen without drawing any aggro form the archers or 2 of the 3 effreets, but I wont post it until I get my last 2 queen items. The cloak and the goggles ^^

Friend has and loves his consort bracers. They certainly do exist, but are quite rare.

The biggest problem I find is that she bugs out at the start (ports and then stays invulnerable), and then I get irritated and do something else.

The DQ is supposed to port at the begining of the fight. And the invulnerability will only last a few minutes at most.

On Mabar my Bard and Barbarian have the bracers and they both use them. My favorite piece of loot from there.

Did DQ just 3 nights ago, demonic bracers dropped. They do exist.

Also...the 'bad' chest? I pulled a paralyzing longbow out of it that same night...no RR. It's not so bad. :D
